Owner, David Howard, first became involved in the home improvement industry in 1963 when his father, Donald Howard, started the family business in Lafayette, Indiana. Working by his father’s side, he learned that anything worth doing was worth doing right the first time. His father instilled in him that the foundation of any business is built on integrity, dignity and unsurpassed customer care. As evidenced from praise letters from two Lafayette mayors, Donald Howard lived up to this creed, a creed that he passed on to his son David.

This background and David’s experience as an installer and sales person laid the foundation upon which Lasting Exteriors is built. He moved to Jacksonville in 1984 and brought with him that same commitment to excellence and, at the time, over 20 years of experience in doing the job right. It is this commitment that has translated into the company mission…Provide the highest quality product at a fair price and offer only the best installation and customer service.

Now with over 40 years of experience, David stands on his own commitment, dignity and integrity passed down to him from his father. The lessons he learned from his father have served him and our customers well.
